A new card design for Paper Rose today, so let’s get into it!
Paper Rose Products used:
- Diagonal Coverplate,
- Lined Leave Outline Dies,
- Banner 2 Large Die Set,
- Daisy Border stamp set (for sentiment).
Other products used: 15x30cm piece of kraft cardstock, Scraps of autumn toned cardstock, Versamark ink, anti-static powder tool, Wow Superfine Rich Gold embossing powder, Liquid glue.
Technique:
I cut a panel from the kraft cardstock with the diagonal lines coverplate die and glued it to a plain panel of the kraft cardstock and trimmed off the excess and set is aside to dry.
I then cut a whole heap of leaves from my scraps of cardstock and then glued them in a diagonal line from bottom right to top left, tucking in some stems and overlapping each.
I made sure not to glue all the edges so I could slightly curl some of them to add depth. I finished the card by heat embossing the sentiment onto a leftover piece of kraft cardstock and cut that out using one of the banner dies.
