Stencil Card - Kelly Bates

Stencil Card - Kelly Bates

Tania Ridgwell |

If you haven’t got much time to create a card, today’s post for Paper Rose will show that in less than 15 minutes you can create a gorgeous ombre card which you can use for any type of situation. Let’s get into it!
Other products used: die cutting machine, liquid glue, foam tape
Technique: I die cut a panel of Smooth White Cardstock using the second largest rectangle die, then attached it behind my stencil and using a blending brush went from dark to light up the panel and set aside to dry once done. I die cut my foliage dies twice from the Daisy Shimmer Cardstock and trimmed out my sentiment strip, colouring along the edges of it in black marker to hide the white core. I then created a card base using a sheet of the Smooth White Cardstock. To assemble I glued my stenciled panel to the base, then glued my leaves on top in the centre. I foam mounted the sentiment and added it over the stems. I finished the card with 5 white pastel dots.
