Hello, hello!
Brande here sharing a layout that is all about ‘reaching for the stars’! Stars are my go-to embellishments when documenting my husbands sports.
For this one, I pulled out the Retro Vibes 12x12 Paper Collection! I have used this collection so much I only had scraps of the different burst patterns - but just enough to piece them together to recreate the burst into a fun 12x12 background. I then added some of the sketched scribbles from the Color Wheel Love 4 x 6 Stamp Set and journal pen lines to the edges and between the pieces and added some black splatters. Using the Paper Rose Premium Dye Ink (Intense Black) and the Scribble Stars 4 x 4 Stamp Set to create a cascade of stars down the middle of the page some. I also stamped a number on coordinating papers and fussy cut those to add in. (Yes this stamp set is Christmas inspired but those stars are great for anything!)
I used one of the papers from the Collection and the Star Stack Texture Metal Die to create photo anchors. The little stars that were cut out were added to the cascading stars. I fussy cut a bunch more stars from the same collection to create a jumble all around the photos. The finishing touch was some phrases from the Its a Boy Thing, Scrapbooking Sentiments & Titles and a date stamp below the photos.
