Hello crafty friends. We made it! I may still have 820 unread emails and 6000 words of translation due, but all the really hard stuff is over for the term. I’m one year into my Master’s degree, and I’m still standing. And what better way to celebrate than to get crafty?
Here’s a look at the cards. There are two shakers, and two more clean and simple cards made with the leftovers. As usual, the clean and simple cards are my personal favourites.
Even better! I had time and brain space to edit a video. I felt like a newbie, after such a big break, and it took me much longer than usual, but I got there in the end.
The first two cards I made were shaker cards. I used papers from Paper Rose Studio’s Jolly Holidays Basics 6×6 pack, and ‘peace’ and ‘joy’ dies with background dies. The sparkles are leftovers from my stash of years of finding bits and pieces like a magpie.
Next I used the leftover centre sentiments to make two more cards with baubles. I used watercolour paper, and smooshed some inks on it to make the golden paper, which I cut with the Baubles and Bows die set.
I used two different 3D embossing folders for the backgrounds of these cards, and I love the texture they add. All of the supplies I used are linked below if you’re interested.
Well, that’s it for me. I have piles of crafty supplies on my desk, just waiting for future cards, so I’ll see you soon.
Until next time, I wish you peace and joy.
Blessings,
Donna
