Hello friends!
This is my latest post for Paper Rose and today I’m sharing a sweet and simple card to let someone know you’re thinking of them. Let’s get into it!
Paper Rose Products used: Lots of Leaves Stamp Set, Lots of leaves Die Set, Hand Stitching 2 Embossing Folder, Big Black and White Sentiment Sheets, Clear Crystal Mix, Black Ink.
Other products used: A2 card base, white cardstock, watercolour paper panel, Distress Inks in Rustic Wilderness and Mowed Lawn, liquid glue, foam tape thin strips.
Technique: I ink smooshed the two Distress Ink colours down onto a non-stick craft mat and sprayed them with water, then laid my watercolour cardstock down into it. I dried it with a heat gun, then repeated the process until I was happy with the result and set it aside to dry fully. While waiting I embossed my white piece of cardstock in my embossing folder and attached it to my card base. I stamped a bunch of the leaves stamps across my watercolour panel and cut those with the coordinating dies. I then cut my sentiment out and foam mounted it to the card base and placed all my leaves around it, gluing at the base of each branch but popping the leaf tips up with thin foam strips. I finished the card with a few of the clear crystals.
