Hello friends, welcome to my latest post for Paper Rose! We’re into September already, can you believe it? Today I’m sharing a super cute card featuring the new Little Bunny metal die, so let’s get into it!
Paper Rose Products used: Stephanie Stencil, Little Bunny Metal Die, Baby Sentiments 2, Cement and Black Paper Rose Ink
Other products used: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb panel, Ivory lace, scraps of white, black, pink, yellow and ivory cardstocks, Panel of warm grey cardstock, Washi tape, white card base.
Technique: I attached the stencil to my piece of Neenah cardstock and blended the cement ink from the outside in, getting lighter as I went. I went back around the outer edge to make it slightly darker, then set aside to dry. While waiting I die cut two bunnies from my scrap white cardstock, 2 sets of eyes from the black, 2 noses from the pink and 1 set of ear inserts from the ivory and yellow. Using washi tape on the back, I then inlaid all the pieces to create two adorable bunnies. After my Neenah panel was dry, I double stamped my “It’s Twins” sentiment in the Black ink and assembled as shown. The finished piece was mounted onto the warm grey cardstock panel.
