Hello crafty friends. I’m still on a butterfly kick, and still on an inky background kick. But before I show you the cards, let me show you just one picture of the fabulous Aurora Australis that I was able to get tonight. I took this with my old iPhone. What a treat it was to see this. A real life long dream was fulfilled tonight.
On to the cards! I bought this Paper Rose Alora butterfly die at the same time as the dies that I used in my last post, so I was really happy to get some use from it. I have paired it with the Inky Colour 6×6 pad for a couple of fun cards. I have videoed the process, but once again, the video will have to wait until uni holidays. Then there may be a real burst of them!
This white cardstock helps calm the busier background paper, and I’ve used a Happy Birthday sentiment to anchor the antennae of the largest butterfly.
For this second card, I’ve used a gold shiny cardstock from My Favourite Things. This time I’ve glued everything flat. I love this paper that I’ve used behind. This was my last piece. I may have to buy a new pack just for this one!
Thank you for joining me today. I look forward to lay lectures being finished in three weeks time! Then you’ll find me crafting up a storm!
Until then,
Blessings,
Donna
