Hello I Miss You - Kelly Bates

Hello I Miss You - Kelly Bates

Tania Ridgwell |

Hello friends, into April we go!
What a week it’s been here, Brisbane went into lockdown for a few days before Easter to stop a covid cluster in its tracks which it looks like it has, and that meant my daughter got a few extra days on school holidays! As well as that, I had a market on Saturday and of course spent the day with the family yesterday munching on choccy eggs (dairy free for me!). Let’s get into today’s card!
Other products used: die cut machine, white pigment ink, liquid glue, foam tape
Technique: I cut the dark coral cardstock sheet in half and popped it into the centre of the embossing folder and ran it through my die cut machine. I then rubbed lightly over the surface of the embossed cardstock with the white pigment ink and set aside to dry.  I cut half a sheet of the white smooth cardstock with the largest rectangle die, then centred my second largest circle die and ran that through my machine. I die cut the Hello die 3 times from the white cardstock and glued those together, then cut the shadow layer from the black cardstock included in the Brights pack. To assemble I folded and burnished a full sheet of Smooth White Cardstock in half, cut down my embossed panel and glued it to the card base, then used foam tape to mount my white panel on top. I glued the die cut sentiment into the bottom right of the circle and used a printed sub sentiment under it. I finished the card with a few crystals.
