Hello friends,
Happy March! Starting off the month with quite the colourful punch, using the recently released Alana flower die as well as the Little Foliage 1 die set and I’ve cut them from Paper Rose’s Brights Cardstock, so let’s get into it!
Paper Rose Products used: Alana Flower Die Set, Moira Flower die set, Little Foliage 1 die set, Slimline Card Creator 1 die, Big Black and White Sentiment Sheets, Brights Cardstock
Other products used: Slimline Card Base (10cm x 20cm), White Cardstock, foam tape, liquid glue, iridescent gems.
Technique: I die cut a bunch of the flowers and leaves using coloured cardstock from the Brights pack, and the slimline card creator panel from white cardstock. I glued the card creator panel to my slimline card base and set aside to dry. I glued the layers of the flower together, some using 2 colours, others just the 1 (I did have some left over pieces too!). Using the Alana flowers, I added a few leaves behind the petals and them used foam tape to lift them up. I cut my sentiment from the sheet and ran my black marker around the edge so the white core could not be seen. I then assembled as shown gluing some leaves down directly and popping others up with more foam tape. I added 2 little Moira flower centre pieces as extra flowers and finished the card with iridescent gemstones in the centre of each flower and around the card.
