Hello friends! Have you seen the gorgeous new butterfly stamps Paper Rose released over the Christmas period? I’ve been playing with a couple of them and today I’m introducing you to Fiona, so let’s get into today’s card.
I’ve been working on my alcohol ink marker colouring over the last few months or so and I think I’m slowly getting the hang of it! I was very happy with how Fiona turned out on this panel so I decided to run with it 😀
Paper Rose Products used: Fiona Butterfly stamp, Poppies Stamp Set (for the sentiment), Stitched Rectangle Nesting Dies Set, Smooth White Cardstock, Black Ink Cube, Liquid Glue, Clear Crystals
Other products used: black cardstock, orange cardstock, alcohol ink markers
Technique: I stamped Fiona twice onto a panel of smooth white cardstock that I’d cut using the third largest rectangle die in black ink and set aside to dry. In the meantime, I cut a panel of black cardstock from the largest rectangle die and glued it to the front of my card base (which was made from a full sheet of the smooth white cardstock. Once my stamped butterflies were completely dry I coloured them using a range of yellows and oranges from my marker set. I stamped my sentiment onto the orange cardstock and centred in on my panel. I attached my panel to my card base and finished the card off with clear crystals.
