Into August we go! I like to start making my Christmas cards from this month as it allows me time to get them looking just the way I want Today I’m sharing a fun, unique card that would be easy to mass produce if you needed to, so let’s get into it.
Paper Rose Products used: Starburst Stencil, Lots of Presents Die Set, Stitched Rectangle nesting Dies, Brights Cardstock, Silver Shimmer Cardstock, Whisper White Shimmer Cardstock, B&W Christmas Paper Collection 6×6, Crisp Christmas Sentiment Sheets, Liquid Glue
Other products used: die cutting machine, white opaque texture paste, palette knife, foam tape, black marker, washi tape.
Technique: I die cut the largest rectangle die from my blue/purple coloured cardstock panel then attached it behind my stencil using washi tape. I then added a layer of the opaque texture paste across the panel using my palette knife and set aside to dry. I cut the present box from Whisper White and glued a piece of the B&W Christmas paper behind it. I then cut a bow from the Silver Shimmer Cardstock. I assembled my present and set it aside. I then mounted my present in the bottom right hand corner of the panel using foam tape. I cut my sentiment strip and ran my black marker around the edges to cover up the white core. I then foam mounted it to the top left. I attached my panel to my card base to finish.
