Hiya friends and welcome to November! I’m getting my Christmas cards sorted this month and I just HAD to start with this adorable stamp set, so let’s get into it!
I stamped the Christmas JOY word clear stamp onto X-press It blending card in Memento ink and set aside to dry. In the meantime I cut the second largest stitched rectangle nesting die from the Antique Gold Shimmer Cardstock, as well as a scrap of vellum so that they were the same width.
I got to colouring the image with my Copic markers: For the Koala I used C3, C1 and C0. For the Kangaroo I used E30, E15, E13, E11 and E00. For the koalas ears and the kangaroos nose I used a mix of R20 and RV02. The lights were coloured with BG49, Y15, YR68, G07 and RV29. The word is coloured with BG13.
Once the image was coloured I cut it from the same stitched rectangle die and then trimmed off the excess. I tore the vellum and glued it behind my image, then glued it to the gold panel. I then added the little hearts which were offcuts from the Ornate Bauble 3 die.
Thanks for stopping by, have an amazing weekend!! – Kelly.
